Exhibition 2006: "The Roots Of Air"

Carmen Baena: SEPTEMBER 2006. THE ROOTS OF THE AIR In this exhibition, Carmen Baena combines natural materials with artificial ones. In some works, the contrast achieved by alternating elements as hard as marble with others as fragile as a branch stands out. He is capable, due to his genius, of creating a sensation of movement, he manages to enter our psychic part and make us believe that a breeze envelops some of the works or directly take us to a point of reflection. Wood, marble, gold leaf, resin; are some of the materials that when Baena touches them, turns them into works of art.
